Isaac Sacolick is a successful CIO who has led digital transformation, innovation, agile, and data science programs in multiple organizations. He has transformed underperforming businesses by delivering new digital products, investing in strategic technologies, enabling agile practices, outsourcing commodity services and establishing performance metrics. Isaac has been recognized as a top 100 social CIO, blogger, and industry speaker.

Isaac is the author of Driving Digital: The Leader's Guide to Business Transformation Through Technology where he shares many of his best practices in leading digital transformation. He is a speaker on transformation, digital strategy, emerging technologies, data science / analytics, and agile management.

Isaac is currently President and CIO of StarCIO, a consulting and services business that helps clients implement their digital transformation programs smarter and faster. StarCIO also provides marketing services to SaaS and technology businesses.

He was most recently the Global CIO and a Managing Director at Greenwich Associates, a leading provider of global market intelligence and advisory services to the financial services industry. Isaac led Greenwich Associate's Business Transformation Initiative and implemented business intelligence platforms, upgraded its CRM processes, re-engineered the firm's data collection platforms, and led a digital transformation of two of Greenwich.com and JavelinStrategy.com.

Previously, Isaac Sacolick was CIO of McGraw Hill Construction and responsible for its technology strategy and execution. He oversaw the development of new technology products including Dodge Global Network, Dodge Bid Pro, and three Dodge Business Intelligence products. He was a contributor to Engineering News Record, sat on the content board of the FutureTech technology conference, and led Construction’s CIO Council for AEC CIOs. Isaac promoted Construction’s data driven culture and oversaw the company’s self-service business intelligence initiatives. McGraw Hill Financial divested Construction to Symphony Technology Group in Q4/2014 and Isaac led the technology presentations, due diligence functions, and separation plans.

Isaac has been recognized as an industry leading, agile, innovative CIO. In 2015 he was interviewed by Forbes on 5 Things to do When Leading a Digital Transformation, was listed on their Top 20 Social CIOs and was recognized as a Top 100 CIO in STEM. In 2013, he received TechTarget’s CIO award for Technology Advancement. In 20162015 and 2014, he was listed on Huffington Post’s Top Social CIOs. He is an industry speaker on many business enabling topics including innovation, enterprise agile, and big data analytics. He writes a blog, Social Agile and Transformation that covers topics on CIO technology transformation, agile execution, big data, innovation, and digital marketing. In 2013-4 he was a member of the Board of the SiiA Content Division.

He joined The McGraw-Hill Companies in 2007 as vice president of technology for BusinessWeek. In this role, he matured BusinessWeek’s agile planning and development processes and launched Business Exchange, a web 2.0 content sharing network for business professionals.

Prior to joining McGraw Hill, Isaac was the founder and chief operating officer of TripConnect, a web 2.0 social travel website where users can share advice on destinations and hotels with friends, family, and communities with common travel interests. Isaac was also founder and CTO of PowerOne Media and AdOne, companies that provided SaaS applications to newspaper companies in content management, classified ad search, and digital advertising.

Isaac is an entrepreneur and specialist in agile management practices, big data, citizen developer programs, data science, data warehousing, NoSQL XML search technologies, CMS content management systems, media and publishing technologies, social networking, CRM, Digital Marketing solutions, web analytics, digital advertising, and enterprise collaboration practices.

Isaac holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Binghamton University, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arizona.
