Breakthrough Low-Code: Four Platforms Champion GenAI, ML, and New Productivity Drivers

Go to four low-code conferences over a couple of months, and you learn a few things about how gen AI, machine learning, and productivity tools are shaping the world of all companies – from the largest enterprises to smaller businesses – and from mega enterprises in the financial service and insurance industries to medium-sized healthcare, manufacturing, and construction businesses.

Digital Trailblazer Advisory with Isaac Sacolick

I share insights from all four conferences in the Driving Digital Standup video embedded at the end of this post. Watch until the end, where I share three recommendations for Digital Trailblazers around genAI and low-code. And no spoilers – you’ll have to watch the episode to see what conferences and platforms I cover.

Low-code platforms are all about continuous innovation

GenAI, machine learning, and productivity drivers were all front and center at these conferences. All four platforms show how genAI can improve workflows for business users consuming applications as well as the developers building and supporting them. These were embedded experiences with various degrees of flexibility, but all served similar objectives – to make it easier for people to get more done and make smarter decisions.

All four companies recognized that businesses are entering a new era when collaboration among executives, teams, and partners is more important than ever. One even mentioned Digital Trailblazers – my name for all of you leading digital transformation initiatives at your companies. If you’re going to compete today, a multidisciplinary leadership group of product managers, devsecops leaders, and data specialists is required to reconceive genAI and ML-enabled workflows.

All four companies highlighted the importance of centralized data and workflows that combine automation, analytics, and human-in-the-loop experiences. Each has a different vision and set of platforms to help Digital Trailblazers accelerate implementation and adoption.

The future of collaboration requires low-code

All four platforms discussed the importance of leveraging industry standard best practices and had tools and templates to roll out these standards. Some of the platforms also provide benchmarks to help drive continuous improvement. All stressed the importance of speed, agility, and competitiveness from integrating and configuring collaborative experiences in their platforms. These benefits mean that Digital Trailblazers will be less likely to develop fully customized workflows as proprietary applications.
